As demonstrated at CES 2026, this update addresses a key user pain point: the reliance on voice dictation in public spaces. By utilizing the neural band, users can now discreetly write messages directly on surfaces like a table, offering a more private and intuitive interaction method.

The system supports basic corrections, such as swiping to add space or delete characters, though it is not yet flawless. Alongside handwriting, Meta is introducing a manual card-based teleprompter feature, giving users control over scrolling text for presentations.
