Meta offers $3,000 bonuses to lure creators to Facebook

Meta is launching a new Creator Fast Track program that offers bonuses up to $3,000 a month to popular creators who post on Facebook. The initiative targets creators with large followings on TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram, offering $1,000 monthly for those with 100,000+ followers and $3,000 for those with a million or more.

This three-month bonus program is designed to attract creators to Meta's Content Monetization system, which pays based on views and engagement across Stories, Reels, and posts. Creators aren't required to post exclusive content or meet engagement targets, and can earn from text, photo posts, and Stories. Meta VP Yair Livne says the bonuses are meant to ease the transition to a new platform.

The move follows Meta's history of paying creators big sums to join Facebook, including a $1 billion investment in Reels bonuses that was later discontinued. Meta reports paying creators nearly $3 billion in 2025, with some political news creators earning $250,000 in a single month. Livne acknowledges Facebook's monetization program has been a "well kept secret" in the creator community.
