Lenovo Googlebook Laptops Leak

Leaked images reveal Lenovo is working on two new Googlebooks, a departure from the initial laptop-only perception of Google's new Android-based Chrome OS initiative. The devices include two laptop models, similar in style to Lenovo's Chromebook Plus 14, and a 2-in-1 tablet resembling the Idea Pad Pro Gen 2.

All three devices sport the "Googlebook" branding on their keyboards and a distinctive white chassis with a "Glowbar" light strip, a new hardware feature intended to differentiate Googlebooks. This suggests that tablets, in addition to laptops, will be part of the Googlebook platform, a new development as Google's own announcements primarily featured an unknown laptop.

Googlebooks are expected to launch later this year, with Lenovo joining other hardware partners like ASUS, Dell, and HP. The initiative focuses on third-party laptop makers and will likely launch independently of Google's phones, despite shared aesthetic elements like glowing lights.
