IKEA and Xbox have fully unveiled their new nine-piece YXSTABY furniture collection at Gamescom in Germany. The collaboration, part of Xbox's 25th anniversary celebrations, includes a mix of decorative pieces like a stainless steel D-pad platter and a green D-pad cushion, alongside more functional furniture designed to "solve the small, familiar challenges that can come with playing at home." This includes a rollable TV stand with storage, a toolbox for controllers and cables that doubles as a laptop stand, a controller display box, and a side table on wheels.

The standout item is the thumbstick stool, which IKEA designer David Wahl said was created to feel like a thumbstick from an Xbox pad when you sit on it. Wahl notes it "tilts with you while you play," adding a playful element. The collection is minimalist and desirable, with prices ranging from $2.50 for a shopping bag to $180 for a side table. The YXSTABY collection will be available in the US starting September 30.
