Hisense is launching a new E Ink Android phone with two screens, one detachable. The A10 will feature a 6.13‑inch E Ink touchscreen for reading and note‑taking. The detachable display is a color LCD that magnetically attaches to the rear and can be purchased separately. The main device can be sold without it.

The phone will support 5G and run Android 16, and may be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Price estimates start at $590 for the base unit, with a detachable LCD available at an additional cost. The dual‑screen concept follows Bigme’s Hi Break Dual 2, which also pairs an E Ink screen with a color LCD.

The A10 is expected to ship outside the US, but Chinese e‑commerce channels may allow imports. The paper‑like display is ideal for reading and studying, while the LCD is better suited for photos, comics, and entertainment.

Users can keep the detachable LCD for on‑the‑go photo sharing, while the E Ink screen shines during long reading sessions without eye strain. The magnetic attachment makes switching between modes quick and hassle‑free, offering a versatile experience for both productivity and leisure.
