PlayStation 5 owners can join the Forza Horizon 6 festival starting January 26, as the highly anticipated racing game finally arrives on Sony's console. Originally released on Xbox and PC in May, the game features a reimagined formula from Playground Games, set in a long-awaited Japan-inspired open world.
The PS5 version includes a Premium Edition offering five days of early access, with the first expansion launching alongside the console release. Standard edition players can purchase the expansion separately.
This marks a strategic shift, as Playground Games brings Forza Horizon 6 to PS5 roughly a month before the next game, Fable, which arrives February 23 on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5. Xbox leadership has indicated a changing exclusivity strategy, potentially making Fable one of the last cross-platform titles outside of Call of Duty and StarCraft.
