Forza Horizon 6 launches on May 19 for Xbox Series X/S and PC, with an early access period starting May 15. The game will also hit PS5 later this year, marking the series' first trip to Japan. Standard edition pricing is set at $70, but it will be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios revealed gameplay during the recent Xbox Developer Direct. The title features Horizon qualifiers, Horizon Rush obstacle courses, and a progression system unlocking faster cars. This installment is the largest in the series, with a Tokyo map five times bigger than any previous urban area and dynamic seasonal changes.

Beyond racing, players can customize The Estate, a buildable world area visitable by friends in multiplayer—a series first. Over 550 cars are available at launch with window liveries, and new open-world car meets allow trading vehicles and downloading songs. Accessibility features return, adding a high-contrast mode and autodrive option.
