At CES 2026, Engadget got a first look at Fender Audio's new lineup of headphones and speakers. Following a pre-CES announcement, the brand, owned by Riffsound, showcased the Mix headphones and Ellie speakers. The Mix headphones feature a unique modular design, allowing users to replace ear cups, ear pads, and even the battery.

They support wireless lossless audio via a USB-C dongle and offer impressive battery life—up to 52 hours with ANC on. The Ellie speakers come in two models: the 06 and 12. Both include versatile inputs like XLR and 1/4-inch for instruments, plus wireless mic support.

They can be used individually, in stereo pairs, or in a Multi mode connecting up to 100 units. Initial impressions noted deep bass and clear vocals for both the headphones and speakers. Pricing is set at $299 for the Mix headphones and Ellie 06, and $399 for the Ellie 12.
