Fans of philosophical puzzle titles will get a full trilogy. Croteam, the studio behind the original 2014 hit, and publisher Devolver Digital have confirmed that The Talos Principle 3 will bring the saga to a close. The sequel promises fresh brain‑teasers that build on the story started in 2014 and finished in 2023’s follow‑up.

The opening chapter drops players into a disorienting landscape called the Anomaly, where physics break down and memories flicker. The narrative starts with a waking sense of confusion, hinting that the protagonist has a purpose yet to discover. This setting primes players for puzzles that test perception as much as logic.

Steam’s description hints at over a dozen worlds, ranging from a desert planet under terraforming to the lush gardens of Elysium. Players will encounter both familiar and new mechanics, suggesting that classic puzzle tools will evolve. The breadth of environments promises escalating difficulty, pushing users to adapt to shifting laws of physics and spatial reasoning.

No release date has been set, but Devolver says more details will surface soon. The final entry will ship for PC and PS5, following the pattern of its predecessors. A teaser trailer already showcases the surreal visuals, hinting that the series’ philosophical questions will intensify. When it launches, fans can expect a definitive end to the mind‑bending narrative.
