Aqara has launched the G350 Camera Hub, the first security camera certified for Matter, the new open standard enabling interoperability between smart home brands like Google and Amazon. This camera functions as a Zigbee and Matter hub within the Aqara Home app, allowing users to control devices from different protocols in one location. The G350 features a 4K wide-angle lens, a 2.5K telephoto lens, 9x hybrid zoom, and a pan-tilt mechanism providing 360-degree coverage. AI tracking keeps people and pets in frame, while smart alerts filter meaningful events. Priced at $140, it's now available on Aqara's site and Amazon.

Aqara also introduced the G400 wired doorbell camera, compatible with Matter and offering 2K resolution and a 165-degree ultra-wide field of view. It connects via Ethernet or Wi-Fi 6, featuring on-device motion detection even offline. Cloud AI identifies faces, packages, vehicles, and animals. The G400 sells for $100 and integrates with major platforms including Apple HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings. Both cameras are available on Aqara's website and Amazon.

This launch positions Aqara as a key player in Matter adoption, simplifying smart home ecosystems by reducing protocol fragmentation and offering consumers a unified control hub.
