These faces can be customized with widgets and Smart Stacks, and the device can detect when an iPhone is nearby to hide personal data—an elegant privacy tweak.

Design hints suggest a square shape and a wall‑mountable version, as the beta mentions “Home Accessory_wall.” Apple also appears to be working on a new generation of the HomePod mini, codenamed B525, likely a minor upgrade with new colors. In addition, the same beta contains a reference to a tabletop robot, codenamed J595, that would feature a rotating display on a robotic arm, though it may not surface until 2027.
