Analogue 3D Adds Quicksave Feature

Analogue has delivered on a promised feature with firmware update 1.3.0 for its Analogue 3D console. The update introduces "Memories," the company's signature save-state system that allows players to create quicksave points anywhere in games, eliminating the need to reach traditional save stations with low health.

The Memories feature works with both 8BitDo's 64 Controller and original N64 controllers through dedicated hotkeys. Players can generate up to 20 save files, with the oldest automatically deleted when creating new saves. Users can also pin specific saves to prevent deletion, providing flexibility for managing game progress across multiple titles.

The firmware update also includes several bug fixes alongside the highly anticipated quicksave functionality. Despite the welcome addition for existing owners, potential buyers will need to wait for restock notifications as out of stock conditions persist for both standard and limited-edition colorways of the console.
