Samsung's One UI 9, built on Android 17, offers exclusive features that make Galaxy devices hard to leave. Multi Control lets you share a single mouse and keyboard across Galaxy phones, tablets, and Windows PCs without a PC intermediary — unlike Motorola or Oppo alternatives. It turns a phone into a second monitor for apps like Spotify or calendars.
Separate App Sound routes audio per app, so TikTok plays through the phone speaker while music streams to Bluetooth, preventing embarrassing party interruptions. Samsung's audio heritage (Harman Kardon, JBL) shines here.
Auto Blocker adds security by blocking sideloaded apps, USB commands, and malicious updates. Samsung DeX transforms a phone into a desktop experience on external displays. Good Lock modules enable deep UI customization — from taskbar tweaks to custom gestures — far beyond stock Android.
These features run on One UI 9 and 8.5, with most available on One UI 8 for older devices. Together they create a cohesive ecosystem that blends productivity, security, and audio control uniquely.
