Amazon is slashing prices on Thunderbolt 5 docks for Prime Big Deal Days, with big price cuts on these models. Thunderbolt docks make it easy to turn a MacBook into a desktop workstation with a single cable. They can add displays, storage, Ethernet, card readers, and other peripherals without cluttering your setup.
We've tested and covered a wide range of Thunderbolt docks, and Amazon's latest discounts make the newer Thunderbolt 5 generation much easier to justify. Wavlink's 12-in-1 dock is the value play, giving a Thunderbolt 5 MacBook a substantial connectivity upgrade. It has one upstream Thunderbolt 5 port with up to 140W charging and three downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports.
Ugreen's 13-in-1 Maxidok is aimed at users who want a large collection of high-speed ports without relying on dedicated HDMI or DisplayPort connections. The dock has four Thunderbolt 5 ports capable of up to 120Gbps. Amazon has the Ugreen Maxidok for $299.99, 25% off its $399.99 list price.
The Anker Prime TB5 Docking Station is one of the easiest picks because we've already tested it and came away impressed. Its 14 ports include one upstream and two downstream Thunderbolt 5 connections. The upstream Thunderbolt 5 port can deliver up to 140W to a laptop.
