Sonnet has launched the Echo 21 Thunderbolt 5 SuperDock, a massive connectivity upgrade for Mac users. The dock features 12 ports including three Thunderbolt 5 connections delivering up to 120Gbps bandwidth, plus five USB-C, four USB-A, dual DisplayPort outputs, 10-Gig Ethernet, and high-res audio.

Priced at $499.99, the Echo 21 includes an M.2 NVMe SSD slot supporting up to 8TB with transfer speeds reaching 3,300MB/s. A second model, the Echo 20 Thunderbolt 5 SecureDock, removes the storage slot and costs $449.99 for security-focused environments. Both models deliver 140W power delivery through the primary Thunderbolt connection.

Early testing shows the dock handles multiple high-bandwidth devices without connectivity or overheating issues common in other docks. The storage slot proves particularly useful for users needing fast local storage without sacrificing other ports.
