Previously a two-tier system with the MacBook Air as the entry point, the Neo now occupies the budget-conscious entry level starting at $599. The Air rises to mid-tier status, while the Pro line retains its premium position, reaching a top-end price of $7,349 for the 16-inch M5 Max model.

This creates a $6,750 price gap between the cheapest Neo and the most expensive Pro, a significant widening compared to previous years.
