If you're in the EU or UK, the internet may not be working properly this morning. Google services across the board, including DNS, cloud, and ad serving, are struggling.
The disruption appears limited to Europe and Britain, as the United States is not affected by the problem. Users in those regions may find that websites and online services fail to load or respond as expected.
Google's public status dashboard for its cloud products is the best place to follow updates on the outage and its progress toward resolution. Readers can check status.cloud.google.com for the latest information on affected services.
The incident underscores how widely Google's infrastructure underpins everyday online activity, from domain name resolution to advertising and hosted applications. Further details about the cause and expected recovery time had not been confirmed in the source material.
