Bluey Takes Over Apple Arcade in Limited-Time Kids' Event

Bluey, the Emmy-winning children's character, is taking over five existing Apple Arcade titles for a limited summer run. Rather than launching a dedicated Bluey game, the popular show's mascot will appear in Crossy Road Castle, stitch., puffies, Suika Game+, and Disney Coloring World+ starting May 21.

The crossover runs through July with varying end dates—stitch. and puffies. wrap June 24 and July 8 respectively, while the remaining three games host Bluey through July 21. Meanwhile, Apple Arcade is adding four new titles June 4, including My Talking Tom 2+, Mini Football Legends, Coffee Inc 2+, and FreeCell Solitaire.

This represents Apple's latest strategy to refresh the subscription service through character partnerships rather than new exclusives. The company charges $6.99 per month for Apple Arcade, included in Apple One bundles. While June typically brings sparse new content, Bluey's takeover provides fresh engagement for preschool subscribers.

The limited-time event shows how Apple leverages existing popular IPs to maintain subscriber interest in a service that rarely announces major new releases.
