Apple is expanding its developer education initiative to Europe with its first European Developer Center opening in Berlin, Germany later in 2026. The facility will be located in the Mitte district, which serves as the heart of the city's startup ecosystem. This marks a significant step in bringing Apple's hands-on developer support to a continent with a large community of app creators.

The center will offer developers access to Apple experts through in-person sessions, workshops, and one-on-one appointments covering all platforms including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS. Dedicated labs and consultation areas will provide hands-on support in multiple languages. Regular events will help developers improve their skills and build better apps for the ecosystem.

Other Apple Developer Centers are located in Bengaluru, Cupertino, Shanghai, and Singapore. Additionally, the company operates 19 Developer Academies worldwide and Foundation Programs in Italy and France. This European expansion reflects Apple's recognition of the continent's strong developer community.

Susan Prescott, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, emphasized that developers thrive when given proper tools and resources. The Berlin center represents Apple's commitment to supporting European developers with the same infrastructure available in other regions.
