Apple and MLB today released the September schedule for Apple TV’s weekly Friday Night Baseball doubleheader. The games are part of an Apple TV subscription at no extra cost, giving fans a new perk for the service. The schedule includes four immersive matchups, expanding the platform’s sports coverage.

For the first time, Friday Night Baseball will stream live in Apple Immersive, letting Vision Pro users watch a 3D video feed recorded in 8K with a 180º field of view. The inaugural immersive broadcast pits the Boston Red Sox against the New York Yankees on Friday, August 28 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time, offering unique angles that place viewers right in the action.

Vision Pro owners with an Apple TV subscription in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the UK, and the U.S. can stream the games live through the Apple TV app. Full game replays and highlights will also be on demand for Vision Pro, allowing fans to revisit key moments after the live event.

Apple said team lineups and stats will float on screen, and a stadium view with spatial audio will play during breaks. Four out of the seven September Friday Night Baseball matchups will be available in Apple Immersive, and a full schedule is posted on Apple’s newsroom.
