Apple pushed a sweeping update to its Creator Studio subscription bundle on Tuesday, delivering AI-powered features to nearly every app in the lineup. The service, which launched in late January, now includes enhanced tools for video editing, audio production, and image creation. Final Cut Pro leads the charge with new capabilities that automate tedious editing tasks.

The professional video editor adds Generate Captions for automatic subtitle transcription and Edit Detection that splits rendered video back into original clips. An Auto Mask feature identifies objects like people, sky, and clothing for precise masking. Logic Pro gets a redesigned Chord ID and new Granular Alchemy Sound Pack with natural language controls. Pixelmator Pro integrates AI image generation and vector shape creation through text prompts.

Freeform finally receives Dark Mode support alongside folder organization for boards. Compressor adds tools for Apple Vision Pro content with 180-degree video support. Motion speeds up animation workflows with new Distribute Layers functionality. The iWork suite gains presentation transitions and improved sheet management.

Creator Studio costs $12.99 monthly or $129 annually, with education pricing at $2.99 monthly. Standalone versions remain available at one-time purchase prices, though they lack premium AI features. The subscription model positions Apple to compete with Adobe's Creative Cloud while leveraging its hardware ecosystem.
