Xiaomi's T series is getting a price hike. The upcoming Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro are reportedly launching in May 2026, eight months earlier than the typical cycle, but they'll cost significantly more than their predecessors. The base 17T starts at €749 (~$876), while the Pro model hits €999 (~$1,169) — that's €100 and €200 more respectively than the Xiaomi 15T lineup.

The Pro does bring substantial upgrades for that premium. It features a 6.83-inch 144Hz OLED display, MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 processor built on TSMC's advanced 3nm process, and a 7,000mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Camera hardware includes a 50MP Light Fusion 950 main sensor (the same 1/1.31-inch unit as the Xiaomi 17), a 50MP 5x telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide. The standard 17T is more modest: 6.59-inch 120Hz screen, Dimensity 8500-Ultra chip, 6,500mAh battery with 67W wired charging only.

At €999, the 17T Pro now competes directly with Samsung's Galaxy S26 and OnePlus 14 base models — true flagship territory. Xiaomi appears to be testing how much customers will pay. The days of sub-€800 flagship killers are over.
