Unified Remote lets you turn your smartphone into a mouse for your PC, and setup is ridiculously easy. The app works on Android and iOS, connecting to Windows, Linux, and macOS. This guide uses the free version on a Pixel 10 Pro running Android 17 and an HP laptop on Windows 11.

Setup happens in two parts. First, download and install the Unified Remote Server on your computer, then launch it and check the server status. Next, install the Unified Remote app on your phone, grant permissions, and select "I've installed the server" to connect automatically.

The free basic version includes a touchpad with scroll, right-click, and keyboard functionality, plus swipe texting. For extra features and ad removal, the premium version is available, though the ads are non-invasive.
