Tecno unveiled the Camon 50 Ultra at MWC 2026, a phone that closely resembles the Galaxy S26 Ultra in design. The standout feature is its camera system, which includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor.

Tecno has heavily integrated AI capabilities throughout the device. The camera includes AI Auto Zoom for automatic framing and enhancement, plus AI RAW 2.0 processing for better low-light performance. DXOMARK has ranked the Camon 50 Ultra as the top camera phone under $600. Additional AI features include an AI Art Gallery for photo enhancement, an Image-to-Video Generator, and 3D PhotoSpace for creating depth in images.

The phone comes with a massive 6,500mAh battery supporting 45W charging and boasts an impressive IP68/IP69/IP69K water and dust resistance rating. Tecno's upgraded Ella AI assistant can help with homework, document scanning, and language learning. The company also includes an AI Health Assistant, potentially valuable in regions with limited medical access. While pricing hasn't been announced, the Camon 50 Ultra will launch in Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America.
