Tipster AssembleDebug discovered code strings suggesting Samsung wants users to open the complete Now Brief interface rather than relying on widgets. This comes as Samsung begins rolling out One UI 8.5 to Galaxy S25 devices while simultaneously developing One UI 9, which includes updates to Samsung Notes and the Quick Panel.

Now Brief recently gained support for Samsung TVs through SmartThings integration, connecting users with smart locks, appliances, and Family Care. The potential priority alert system would add another layer of convenience to Samsung's notification management ecosystem, helping ensure important messages don't get lost in the noise of daily notifications.
