Yet Android tablet app support remains a problem—developers still don't prioritize the platform the way they do iPads.

The 13.2-inch IPS LCD panel carries over from last year. Colors and contrast lag behind OLED panels, though Dolby Vision and a 144Hz refresh rate help. At 5.9mm thin with an aluminum unibody, the tablet feels premium but the large battery makes it heavy. One notable regression: the base model now starts at 8GB RAM, down from 12GB on the previous generation.
