Nothing unveiled the design of its upcoming Phone 4b on X ahead of the scheduled July 7 launch. A short video shows an illustrator placing the vertical dual‑camera module, volume and power buttons, and SIM tray onto a sleek “unibody” chassis. The rear features a clear, slightly raised camera bump with a pill‑shaped LED flash and an extra sensor, while retaining the Glyph Bar LED strip from the 4a.

Co‑founder Akis Evangelidis described the 4b as a continuation of Nothing’s naming scheme, positioned below the premium a‑series in price and performance. He hinted the device will carry its own “distinct voice” while borrowing lessons from the 4a and 4a Pro. Thicker bezels and a pronounced chin, noted by users, suggest cost‑saving measures that may affect its appeal to power users.

Industry observers see the unibody aesthetic as Nothing’s attempt to differentiate in a crowded mid‑range market. By merging the Glyph Bar’s brand identity with a simpler rear layout, the company hopes to attract buyers seeking a clean look at a lower price point. The July 7 reveal sets the stage for a direct comparison with the 4a line once pricing is confirmed.
