Motorola is transforming Google Photos into a personal stylist and content hub on its new Razr devices. The company has introduced the "Wardrobe" feature that automatically identifies and organizes clothes and accessories from your photo library, creating a digital closet without manual sorting. This represents Google and Motorola's joint effort to evolve photo galleries beyond simple storage.

The Wardrobe feature lets users mix and match outfits, try different looks, and save favorites directly in Photos. It will begin arriving on select Android devices in June 2026, requiring users to be at least 16 years old with face grouping enabled. Motorola suggests this could help indecisive users or those who over-pack when traveling.

Motorola also became the first mobile partner to embed Google Photos Memories into its Daily Drops feed. This personalized hub updates twice daily with headlines, weather, calendar info, and photo memories, already rolling out on select Motorola phones across multiple regions. Users wake up to see their best moments alongside practical daily information.
