Hisense A10 Hybrid E Ink Phone Challenges BigMe Hibreak Dual 2

Hisense has started teasing the A10, a 6.1-inch hybrid E Ink phone with a magnetically attachable/detachable LCD secondary screen. The device reportedly uses a 4nm 8-core Qualcomm chip and runs Android 16. Hisense lists the A10 at CNY 3,999 (~$590) in China.

The detachable LCD provides full-color app experience while the E Ink display handles reading and writing. A tipster suggests the LCD might sell separately as an accessory. This mirrors BigMe's Hibreak Dual 2, which features a 6.1-inch color/BW E-Ink display and a 5-inch LCD on the back.

BigMe's first Hibreak left reviewers like Nicholas Sutrich wanting more, but the Dual 2 aims to improve. Both companies target users wanting a single device for reading and traditional phone tasks. Hisense's early teasers give BigMe competition before the Hibreak Dual 2 launches.
