Halliday has unveiled the Halliday G2, AI smart glasses featuring Meeting Flow, which delivers real-time prompts and contextual insights during conversations instead of post-meeting notes. The glasses provide live captions, translations, instant recaps, contextual research with confidence-rated answers, and flag topic drift, unclear decisions, and incomplete action items.

Available for pre-order with a $10 deposit (saving $100 off the $599 retail price), shipments are slated for September 2026. Hardware includes binocular waveguide optics with dual micro-LED projectors at 1,600 nits brightness and 600 x 300 resolution per eye, a four-microphone array with two-meter range, 12+ hour battery life, and sub-50-gram weight. The camera-free design aims to ease privacy concerns in sensitive environments.

Beyond meetings, the glasses handle notifications, calls, music, real-time translation in 45+ languages, an AI assistant, and a teleprompter-style Cheatsheet mode. However, Android Central's Jay Bonggolto expresses skepticism about the always-listening microphone feeding boardroom audio to AI, calling it a potential data privacy nightmare despite the lack of a camera. Halliday plans deeper contextual awareness updates through 2026.
