Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold Charging Speed

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold can fast charge up to 50% in 30 minutes with a 30W or higher PPS charger. Qi2 (25W) wireless charging is now supported, which is 20% faster than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

Google has made the Pixel 11 Pro Fold the thinnest and lightest foldable it has produced, with a weight of 239 grams (down from 258 grams). However, this came at the cost of battery capacity. The new model has a 4,750mAh battery, which is 265mAh less than the previous model.

Battery life claims remain the same at "24+ hours" on one charge. Google is banking on the efficiency of the Tensor G6 SoC to make up for the loss in capacity. Meanwhile, Samsung and Motorola have adopted silicon carbon battery tech, with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra packing a 5,000mAh battery and the Razr Fold having a 6,000mAh battery.

I think Google took a big gamble here. Given its history with Tensor and temperamental updates, this could go either way. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold finally gets comfortably slim and light, along with Qi2 charging and the new Hi Light feature, but the battery trade-off may affect its chances.
