If you're expecting camera upgrades for Samsung's 2027 foldables, think again. Rumors say the Galaxy Z9 series could look largely the same.
Rumors from October suggest Samsung's cameras on the Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra could remain unchanged on the Fold 9 and Fold 9 Ultra. The Fold 9 would retain the same 50MP primary and ultra-wide lenses, while the Fold 9 Ultra would see similar specs: a 200MP primary, 50MP ultra-wide, and 10MP telephoto with 3x zoom. A tipster on X, Walle Galaxy, claims Samsung might not develop any worthwhile camera upgrades for its next foldables.
There are also rumors that Samsung could debut a Galaxy Z Slide, Tri Fold 2, and a Fold 9 Pro next year, doubling the number of phones available.
