Google has confirmed a battery drain bug affecting a small number of Pixel Watches, with a fix already rolling out. Some owners reported battery life dropping to around 12 hours, even with minimal use.
The issue spans multiple Pixel Watch generations. Google says users should update all apps through the Play Store on their watch to receive the fix over the coming days. Open the Play Store app, scroll to Manage apps, and select Update all.
Google hasn't revealed the exact cause or which background process was responsible. The rollout should complete within a couple of days. If issues persist, check for updates again as the rollout finishes.
