Galaxy Z Flip 8 Leak: Exynos Chip, Price Hike

Samsung’s leaked Galaxy Z Flip 8 is a lazy update that demands a steep price hike for a cheaper Exynos chip. The new foldable, expected to launch on July 22 alongside the Z Fold 8, appears一路 only incremental changes. A Win Future leak shows the device will feature a 6.9‑inch 120 Hz inner display, a 4.1‑inch outer screen, and the same 50 MP main sensor with OIS, 12 MP ultra‑wide and 10 MP selfie camera that powered the Flip 7.

Instead of the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Samsung will use its own 10‑core Exynos 2600 running at 3.8 GHz. The phone will weigh 180 g—slightly lighter than last year’s 188 g—but be two‑tenths of a millimetre thicker when unfolded. Battery capacity stays at 4,300 mAh, with optional 45 W wired charging and 12 GB of RAM.

Pricing in Europe could start at €1,299 for 256 GB and rise to €1,499 for 512 GB, a flat €100–€180 increase over the Flip 7. The device will be available in Graphite, Cream and Pink. Android Central notes that the upgrade feels more like Samsung checking boxes than pushing the foldable forward, leaving existing owners with little justification to upgrade.
