Beats Models Pair Seamlessly with Android’s Google Features

Android users often default to brands like Samsung or Sony, but Beats headphones and earbuds—owned by Apple—turn out to be surprisingly compatible with Android. Several models, including the Solo Buds, Studio Buds Plus, Solo 4, and Studio Pro, work seamlessly with Google‑exclusive features that some dedicated Android audio brands miss.

Google Fast Pair lets a Beats set pair instantly: power on the headphones or open an earbud case, a prompt appears, and the device registers to your Google account. Once linked, the pair connects automatically to any phone or tablet signed into that account, eliminating manual pairing steps and streamlining user experience for every session.

Find Hub, Google's crowdsourced location network, works with the same Beats models. When Fast Pair activates, a card invites you to join the Find Hub network, enabling you to locate lost earbuds or headphones via the Find Hub app—or through the Beats app’s Locate My Beats button for every user who needs quick retrieval in.

Audio Switching lets Beats move audio between any Android device in your Google account based on which one is playing. After enabling the feature in Settings, the headphones will toggle automatically, saving you from repeatedly re‑pairing. Powerbeats Pro 2 and Fit lack full Google support, but their Beats app still offers ANC and widget controls today.
