WhatsApp is rolling out a new Events hub with shareable invites that let guests RSVP without an account. Users can add cover photos, share links via text or email, and generate QR codes. The update hides phone numbers from unknown guests and shows event addresses only after RSVP.
A dedicated Events section in Settings lets users manage invites, track RSVPs, and view past or upcoming events. Custom reminders and plus-one options are also available. The feature is rolling out over the next few weeks and builds on existing event tools in group chats and one-on-one conversations.
