Apple today seeded the 5th betas of iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 to registered developers, two weeks after the fourth betas. Developers can download the updates from the Settings app via General → Software Update.

iOS 27 introduces Siri AI, a chatbot that blends general world knowledge with personal data from apps like Messages and Mail, and on‑screen awareness. New Apple Intelligence features appear in Photos, Safari, Shortcuts, Wallet, and Passwords, while a standalone Siri app houses conversations. Write with Siri is now systemwide for text generation and feedback, and Visual Intelligence has moved to the Camera app with a new Siri mode.

Apple also refined Liquid Glass, adding a transparency slider, and delivered performance boosts: faster app launches, quicker AirDrop transfers, snappier keyboard pop‑ups, and smoother Wi‑Fi to cellular transitions, even on older devices.
