VSCO has launched VSCO Galleries, a standalone app designed to replace messy shared folders for collaborative photography projects. Available now for iPhone, the app addresses the friction professionals face when sharing images with clients or coordinating multiple photographers at events, weddings, or portrait sessions.

The app unifies photos from multiple contributors into a single gallery, offering VSCO Pro members unlimited storage and password-protected controls. VSCO CEO Eric Wittman emphasized that the platform goes beyond simple image delivery, creating a refined experience that reflects photographers' visual identity and helps build stronger client relationships. Contributors can upload photos directly to centralized galleries using QR codes from their desktop or mobile browser without needing to download the app.

While today's launch is mobile-only, VSCO confirms a desktop app is in development. The core functionality is free, with advanced features available to Pro users for $60 per year. This move positions VSCO to compete more directly with specialized photo-sharing platforms while leveraging its existing creative community.
