Two Affordable iPhone 17 Pro Accessories Worth Trying

While I prefer using an iPhone without a case or screen protector, I'm enjoying both on the iPhone 17 Pro and can recommend them. They're inexpensive enough to try without committing long-term. Apple's Ceramic Shield 2 promises three times better scratch resistance, but I still get deep scratches annually.

For a matte display, I'm using the Mothca matte glass screen protector ($9–$14). It has a slight rainbow effect and brightness drop, but feels premium for the price.

For cases, I don't want to spend much since I only use one for activities like kayaking or motorcycle mounting. I chose the Spigen Thin Fit in gunmetal ($34.99 on Amazon). It includes MagSafe and a capacitive Camera Control cover, protecting the full camera bump. The gray pairs well with cosmic orange for a futuristic look, hiding the orange aluminum border. Both accessories are low-priced upgrades worth trying.
