Apple launched the Mac mini and Mac Studio today, but three more Macs are rumored to arrive this fall. Here’s what’s coming.

The base model 14-inch MacBook Pro is reportedly getting an M6 update this fall, expected in October, about one year after the M5 model. The design stays the same, but the M6 chip, unveiled today, brings big performance and efficiency gains. It uses a 2-nanometer process with a 12-core CPU, 12-core GPU, and up to 170GB/s memory bandwidth.

Apple also has a new high-end MacBook coming, possibly branded MacBook Pro or MacBook Ultra, powered by M5 Pro and M5 Max. It will feature a touchscreen, OLED, Dynamic Island, and a thinner, lighter design. Launch is expected in October, but could slip to early 2027.

The iMac, originally expected to get an M5, will jump straight to M6. Mark Gurman reports Apple is preparing an M6 version with few changes beyond new colors. It should be available before year-end, offering up to 4x faster AI performance, 2x faster storage and graphics, and 40% faster CPU compared to M4.
