Ted Lasso season 4 is off to a strong start, with Apple revealing to Deadline that it had “the biggest launch ever for Apple TV.” The season 4 premiere drew 296.6 million viewing minutes in the U.S. across its August 4 and 5 launch window, per Nielsen data provided by Apple. On August 5 alone, the season debut was the most-streamed program in the U.S. with more than 200 million viewing minutes.

The early success of Ted Lasso season 4 proves there’s still a big audience for the show. When season 3 aired in 2023, it became the most-watched original that year across all streaming services, a huge feat considering Apple TV’s smaller subscriber base. It seemed for a while that the series might end after season 3, but after years of rumors, Ted Lasso has officially returned.

Apple hopes to keep the show going for many years to come. You can watch Ted Lasso season 4 on Apple TV, available for $12.99 per month or through the Apple One bundle.
