Strava introduced a new Events tab within its Groups section, allowing users to discover local races, group runs, and rides directly in the app. This feature aims to simplify finding community activities and connecting with other athletes.

The Events tab includes a dedicated Races hub that suggests upcoming running events based on user goals, schedules, and preferences. Users can browse and sign up for races directly. Strava also revamped its Club Organizer Hub, providing resources for club leaders, which follows a significant growth in run club memberships, up more than 59% in 2025. The platform now hosts over 1 million clubs.

Users can filter events by various criteria, including distance, date, location, sport, elevation, and temperature for races, and date, location, format, and distance for club events. The integration with the Runna training app is also a notable aspect. This expansion enhances Strava's utility beyond simple activity tracking, positioning it more as a social and discovery platform for the athletic community.
