Pocket Casts version 8.15 introduces several updates, with chapter artwork now visible on the Lock Screen, Control Center, and CarPlay. This feature is particularly beneficial for drivers who can now see visual cues related to podcast content while on the road.

The app's mini player also received design changes, featuring larger controls and a blurred bottom edge for improved readability. Beyond visual enhancements, the update adds context menus to folders and a new Siri shortcut for marking episodes as played.

However, the release drops support for iOS 16 and watchOS 9, requiring users to update to iOS 17 and watchOS 10 or newer. The update also includes various bug fixes, addressing issues with the Share swipe action, search headers, Apple Watch episode viewing, cellular data warnings for "Download All," and consistent dark mode backgrounds in Playlists.
