OpenAI is embedding Codex into the ChatGPT app across all platforms, a move aimed at streamlining enterprise workflows. The company unveiled six new business‑focused Codex plugins—covering sales, data analytics, creative production, product design, public equity investing, and investment banking—during its Intelligence at Work livestream.

The new plugins enable teams to leverage industry tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Figma, and PitchBook directly within Codex. Sales users can pull customer context from HubSpot, while analytics teams tap Snowflake and Databricks Genie to generate dashboards. Creative squads turn briefs into campaign boards using Canva and Shutterstock.

Codex also introduces annotation and sites features that let users refine specific document sections or instantly generate shareable interactive dashboards. Annotations target code, Markdown, slides, and spreadsheets, while sites convert ideas into lightweight web apps that can be accessed via URL.

By merging Codex’s coding power with ChatGPT’s conversational interface, OpenAI delivers a unified platform that sharpens productivity for businesses already invested in its ecosystem.
