Matic has rolled out Apple Home and Siri integration for its robot vacuum and mop combo, bringing voice control to the premium cleaning device. The California-based company's $1,245 robot now responds to voice commands through HomePod mini, Apple Watch, and other Siri-enabled devices, marking a significant expansion of its smart home capabilities.

The integration arrived via the version 1.44 software update in March, allowing users to connect through a QR code pairing process in the Matic app. Once configured, the device appears alongside other HomeKit accessories in Apple's Home app, with dedicated controls for vacuuming, mopping, or both simultaneously across specific rooms or entire floor plans.

Voice commands work reliably during testing, supporting requests like "Siri, vacuum and mop everywhere" or "Siri, pause the vacuum." Users can also set up automations triggered by location or schedule. While some advanced features remain exclusive to the native app, the integration successfully bridges the gap between Matic's proprietary system and Apple's ecosystem.

The Matic robot vacuum and mop retails for $1,245 with a 60-day return period. Despite minor limitations like non-functional sound location in the Home app and limited macOS support, the integration represents solid execution for existing hardware owners.
