Leaker debunks iPhone Ultra delay rumors

A leaker with a solid track record dismissed rumors that Apple’s upcoming iPhone Ultra will miss its expected debut. The source, Fixed Focus Digital, said reports of a “little bit delayed” launch are outright false, insisting any slip would be limited to a single month for the market. This contradicts a wave of speculation about the foldable’s timing.

Earlier hints fueled the delay narrative. A March Barclays investor note projected a December rollout, citing staggered releases like the iPhone X and iPhone 14 Plus to ease manufacturing pressure. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman echoed a “little bit delayed” scenario, leaning toward October, while Nikkei Asia warned engineering glitches could push the device into early 2027 and could affect supply chain timing.

Fixed Focus Digital now predicts the iPhone Ultra will appear alongside the iPhone 18 Pro at the September keynote, with shipments possibly slipping into October but not beyond. If Apple sticks to this schedule, the company avoids a prolonged gap between its flagship tiers, preserving consumer enthusiasm and keeping production lines balanced. This also gives developers a window to optimize apps.
