iRacing has arrived on Apple Vision Pro, bringing what the company calls "level of immersion and fidelity never before seen in sim racing." The app landed on the App Store this week after being announced in March, allowing users to experience racing in a uniquely immersive way by blending physical racing rigs with virtual cockpits.

The experience leverages visionOS 26.4's new foveated streaming feature, utilizing NVIDIA's CloudXR technology. Physics calculations and high-fidelity graphics are performed on a PC with NVIDIA RTX GPU while frames stream wirelessly to the Vision Pro. Users see their physical hands on the wheel, maintaining visual connection to their real racing equipment.

This launch extends beyond gaming, as NVIDIA explores Vision Pro applications in manufacturing, design, and healthcare. The iRacing Connect app requires visionOS 26.4 or later and represents Apple's continued push into high-fidelity augmented reality experiences that bridge digital content with physical environments.
