Apple's iPhone Ultra foldable is set to launch this fall with a unique book-style design. The device will feature a titanium frame, ultra-thin profile, and crease-free inner display. Unlike most foldables, it unfolds wider than it is tall, with an outer display resembling a wider iPhone mini and an inner screen close to iPad mini size.

Camera specs include two rear lenses—48MP Main and 48MP Ultra Wide—but no telephoto option. Two front-facing cameras will support both displays, likely using Apple's 18MP Center Stage technology. The device runs iOS 27 with exclusive multitasking features including side-by-side apps and iPad-like layouts, though it won't support full iPadOS windowing.

Powered by the new A20 Pro chip with 2-nanometer process and 12GB RAM, the iPhone Ultra also features Apple's in-house C2 cellular modem. Surprisingly, it uses Touch ID integrated into the power button instead of Face ID, due to thickness constraints. Pricing rumors suggest a starting point around $1,999 for the 256GB model, making it Apple's most expensive iPhone ever by combining phone and tablet functionality into one device.
