iPhone 18 Pro Design Updates Rumored

iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will launch next month with three major design changes. First, Apple is reportedly unifying the rear glass and aluminum colors to eliminate the two-tone look introduced with iPhone 17 Pro. Weibo leaker Instant Digital claims the new back glass minimizes color difference between materials for a seamless appearance.

Second, the Dynamic Island is expected to shrink by about 35% on iPhone 18 Pro models. Originally launched with iPhone 14 Pro four years ago, the feature has remained unchanged despite rumors. Some Face ID components are moving under the display, though not all, so a hole-punch design isn't expected yet.

Third, Apple is introducing new color options led by Dark Cherry, alongside Silver and Light Blue. The Dark Cherry shade blends burgundy, coffee, and deep purple tones. Space Gray or Black may return as a possible fourth option. These bold colors follow the success of Cosmic Orange on iPhone 17 Pro, showing Apple's continued shift toward vibrant Pro finishes.

The rumored changes suggest Apple is refining its design language while maintaining premium aesthetics for the upcoming flagship lineup.
