iOS 27.2 launched this week with new features for iPhone users, including the return of the Messages Suggestions addition. The feature, previously announced for iOS 27 but pushed back, offers one-tap suggestions based on conversation context. It helps users create reminders, notes, or find photos by recognizing keywords, locations, and people.
Suggestions appear as small action buttons beneath relevant messages. After being delayed before last month's public launch, the feature officially returns in iOS 27.2. Apple has refined the AI to appear less frequently but with clearer justification.
Users can manually configure categories under Settings ⇾ Apps ⇾ Messages ⇾ Suggested Actions for more control. The feature enhances productivity by streamlining common tasks directly from Messages.
